Mainely Maine....

So many things I notice each time I  am here....

Have some favorite sights....

 Typically summer beach capades take over and well, look what got lost....keys, shoes, you name it.

Same beach spot at night....so it maybe that one is traipsing out late and well, lose a shoe or two.

And what's more fun than.....

That's an all year round sport....and looks good too!

or then there's the fake kind.....

let's not forget another Maine symbol - Lenny the Moose. Here he is made out of chocolate.

One is edible....but you can't get close to him!

Here's a favorite (new) drink!

and then the whole chocolate department.....hmmmm, this one was too tempting.

There are clabbord houses, churches everywhere....

and gardens to sit in....

 

And flowers to pick.....

And lakes to swim in.....

Beaches to walk....

So the annual pilgrimage is just that...a must go to renew.

Christmas around Maine

Snow came on Christmas morning....only an inch or so.

The yearlong Chocolate moose - Lenny of Len Libby's fame stands in his lair with wreathes around him. How he has stood solid- without a nibble for years is a feat unto itself.
