Wende Museum Cold War Museum

Wende means "to turn" or "to change" Here at the Wende Museum, the focus is to look at the impact of the Cold War had on Eastern European countries and Russia from the late 1980's when the Berlin Wall went down.

The building had been an armory and had undergone a major renovation finished in Nov 2017.
The artifacts, art and pieces explore what life was like under repressive regimes. The art does prevail in reminding us of the great human spirit behind the veiled curtain.
