Sublime by Poolside - Marion Davies retreat

Marion Davies left the Santa Monica Gold Coast in 1947, but some of the grandeur she envisioned lingers on.

Her tiled pool was resurrected by the Annenberg family, opening it up last year for use by the
little people.

Her guest house remains and it is open to all to sit and visit 6 days a week.

You see that visitors like George Bernard Shaw, Charlie Chaplin and of course Randolph Hearst were the company that she kept.

Incredible views, sumptuous interiors with amazing woodwork and a white picket fence still there.
