Downtown dinner and a movie
Nickel diner downtown LA..good wholesome food...delish.
Storefront meringue-headed dressing suggests
kitch and cool reside
here.
Movies at the Million Dollar theatre...
Grauman's Million Dollar Movie Palace was built in 1918 with a Spanish Rococco style. It was estimated to cost 1 million in all with all of it’s ornate style and sculptural flourishes.
A military theme started the evening....
An Abbott and Costello one "Buck Privates" shot in 1941, in wartime.
Downtown is a whirl of lights....and very street
past sunset.
