I work at a school and one of our students carries her stuffed 'doggie' everywhere she goes.
It doesn't matter
if she needs to use two hands for the loo, or return a volley,
her warm pie-faced cotton-soft mound of
plush pup stays with her. No questions please.
If we could have our guardians and stuffed mates around at all times, wouldn't we all be a bit more comforted and not so overwhelmed.
It begs the question whether something so
simple should fit into everyone's pocket
and reminded that 'Yup, it's ok.'
