Riding down the bike path,  look up and there's the great blue heron

Big as life...

 I like looking at the white egrets too.

Or a crow... maybe a raven, but they have a curved beak.

Abbott Kinney built alot of Venice, CA complete with lagoons, and canals. There were amusement parks, miniature railways.
