November is the start of the holidays -



chill in the air, starry lights....



full of short days and long on hopeful cheer.

A favorite stop for me is Hashimoto - a garden center on Sawtelle.

It's a little strip of Asian
proprietors...

the lagoon has lots of birds, and ebbing tides....

Santa Monica Beach and lowrider car rally

Down at the Santa Monica pier on a Saturday, some spiffy lowriders were on display for their annual rally.




Duke's car club has it's roots in the 50's and 60's gang culture of SoCal.








Fedoras, cigars and major shines...
















Serious upkeep to keep them decked out...
